...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN FLOYD COUNTY...
At 602 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Charles City,
moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado north of the Floyd
County Fairgrounds.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Floyd County, including the following locations... Floyd
Crossing, Colwell County Park and Colwell.
People attending the Floyd County Fairgrounds should seek safe
shelter immediately!
