Thought for the day: In Nehemiah 8:5-11, there was a great gathering for a public reading of God's Word.  Most of the people had just returned from captivity, and it's possible that they had heard very little of the Word of God. Perhaps many couldn't read. Literacy has been an age old problem. It's more complicated today because many who can read DON'T! As people of God, reading His Word must be a priority. Take a quiet moment with a good cup of coffee and think on this.
