A good neighbor of ours called to offer blueberries and plums. Yesterday, my son went over to pick them. Mind you, I grew up canning and freezing the harvest, I can make some great plum butter and also a very tasty plum chutney. My husband and I were thinking of something different and remembered plum pudding. I pulled out a couple of my trusty recipe books. What a surprise! Did you know plum pudding contains NO PLUMS. Kind of like a lot of things today, "sounds" good but what is in the batter?
