Yes, we were taught the Pilgrims came to America to escape religious persecution in England, but the actuality of the matter is that they'd already escaped that when they escaped to Holland first. They were relatively happy there, but finding work and such a permissive society there, especially amongst the younger factions of that society, forced them to flee to America. So, our very underpinnings of America were religious freedom, the ability to work and make a living, and a society that hadn't been compromised at the youth level. A very thin fabric holds a society together, and we continue to watch as ours is unraveling in front of our very eyes. There is no way in a hedonistic and narcissistic culture to make "All the people happy all the time", as coined by John Lydgate. ESPECIALLY when that entails curtailment of anyone/anything that disagrees with them. Combined with the cancerous tentacles of socialism that are metastasizing in our society today, our very roots are being eviscerated. Yes, it's been coming for some time, but it must be absolutely dealt with right now. Once and for all. In the early sixties, the civil unrest at our institutions of "higher" learning encouraged groups like the SDS, or Students for a Democratic Society, to push for flag burning, atheism, and violence to advocate for cultural change. Socialistic curricular classes are now being taught to an indoctrinated culture by the offspring professors of today, who learned it from their parents. So, parents and students today need to examine the institutions of "higher" learning very closely before attending them. Many of them accept donations from China and other countries that profess to hate American ideals. Many of them cater to wealthy foreign students, and their endowments. Can I name a few? Of course, but so can you. Household words. Bastions of education now compromised by the almighty dollar at the expense of future generational excellence in education. Across the wide spectrum of the disciplines, including law, engineering, and technology. The TRUE essential workers. The ones we are going to entrust our country and it's future with. This is ground zero for our first restructuring. We must control the money going to our universities. Outlaw foreign investments. As has been said many times by many people, our Constitution cannot work anywhere else in the world where there's no religious freedom or free speech. Yet, we're attacking our very roots in every way every day. Look at the plights of Venezuela and Hong Kong. If you REALLY want a wake up call, just try and tell the Pilgrims of yore where they can go in the world NOW after we permit the wholesale destruction of our very foundations here. THERE IS NO WHERE ELSE. With that being the case, why not use taxpayer money EFFECTIVELY and pay for the haters of our Republic and our nation to return to the "paradise" they so want? Let us return to our roots that have served us over 240 years. Why must you continue to deny us OUR rights for you to achieve YOURS? Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are God given rights, not governmental permissions. Those who hate our laws, flag, anthem, military, police, and anything else need to go to where their Utopia is and leave US the HECK alone ! THAT'S why you're getting the pushback you're beginning to see across America. We're sick of it, and getting sicker. Combined with governmental overreach, it's becoming intolerable and abominable. 60 years of attempted appeasement haven't worked, and we ALL know the definition of insanity ! Govern yourselves accordingly, ESPECIALLY now.
