What do you share? Me, I was raised in a family where money, religion, politics, sex, etc were not discussed...it just wasn't "polite". We didn't hear "I love you" very often. By today's standards it sounds very oppressive and cold but then it was kind of normal. Don't judge the past using today's norms, things DO change over time. Just remember the standards of the past taught us resilience and gave us the capability to face tomorrow! I pray that we teach our youth some of the lessons....no child, you are NOT a victim when you don't get everything you desire!
