I can say with more than a little pride that I do not watch broadcast television. Oh, I have a T. V. but it is only attached to a DVD player.About the only broadcast T. V. that I am exposed to is if the wife and I go out to a bar or someplace that has televisions on, for atmosphere I guess.It was during the heat of the "pandemic" and I was pondering why so many people were walking around in absolute TERROR that the answer came to me. I was out with the wife, enjoying a beer, and Lester "Max Headroom" Holt was on doing his NBC nightly newscast. To make a long story shorter, ol' Max went on for about the entire newscast about covid, about death counts, about vaccines and the NEED to get them.It is obvious. Probably ninety percent of the adults in the country come home from work, get their dinner, and sit down with the nightly propagan... er, news and eat. They eat dinner and are simultaneously spoon fed the mind rotting garbage spewing out of the T. V.There really Is a reason that they call the broadcasts "PROGRAMMING".
