With the prices of lumber skyrocketing, food prices/quality issues, tax increases, insurance rates increasing, medical care for the rich only, costs of energy across the board from gas to electricity increasing, taxpayer money being spent on everything from abortions and other non American purposes, a linear consumer price index, perpetration of critical race theory by our government and being taught in our schools against our will, censorship of fellow Americans, Constitutional attacks being ignored by the Supreme Court, targeting of American citizens for punishment by the full use and power of our government for purely political purposes, manipulation of ALL media sources, and the complete takeover by one political party as a last ditch effort, I actually came up with an idea. Rather than watch everything we've worked for crumble and become worthless, why not gather a bunch of like minded families, pool our resources, and buy a decommissioned ship from the mothball fleet? I'm SURE the government would help out any way they could just to get rid of us! It's a win-win ! Since my posts are unavailable to "boost" anymore, and we're being shadow banned for telling inconvenient truths, we might even get Zuck himself to contribute some of the money he made by selling our personal data and from politicians who paid him to censor conservatives and blue-dog democrats. If we could get contributions from Big Tech, it'd be much the sweeter ! We could refurbish our ship, update it to accommodate our families, and treat it like a floating condo! Our very own cruise ship. We could travel anywhere in the world. We'd repaint it so everybody knew who we were, and upload daily logs and journals. We could charge guests to participate in the experience. They'd have to pay for their own damage control and firefighting school, though. Everybody on board would be assigned a task based on their skillset, and people with multiple skillsets could rotate tasks. Berthing areas could be turned into cabins and staterooms. Kind of a "commune" for freedom loving Patriots before we're eradicated by this over exuberant socialist minority people are allowing to destroy our nation without even a whimper. I came up with this after I awoke (finished sleeping) from my nap yesterday, where I'd dreamt I was at my maternal Grands house on one of our family get-togethers. All of my relatives were there, and the kids ran willy nilly around unsupervised. There wasn't anything to break, no niceties or knick knacks, just plain and simple folk who'd already realized the true value in life is in surrounding yourself with a loving family and friends, not objects and garbage to impress others. I remember standing in the kitchen holding on to the material that served to cover the undersink while I waited for a glass of water. I didn't understand the conversation back then, but they sure were having fun laughing and grinning. As evening came on, we watched as the "smudgepot" was lit to keep the skeeters at bay, and sat next to our fathers and listened to their discussions. Interrupted rarely by a chaw discharge, they were laughing and joking, too. They drank water taken from behind the truck seats and out of car trunks that they kept in Mason jars, but it sure tasted bad. Maybe that's why they made faces, too, come to think of it. It was so warm it'd make us kids dizzy! Since the past is gone, maybe we could recreate it in the future. If only................
