I like the idea, but have a gun too ladies.Because guess what? If a guy has already overpowered you enough to rape you and now that device is painfully stuck on his penis: he is pissed, has already overpowered you and likely has already restrained you; so it is likely that he will now try to kill you by way of a vicious beating.Not victim blaming. Just practically speaking, if your defenses cannot permanently stop, immobilize, or kill your attacker before he murders you, it will likely piss him off and make him more likely to try and kill you.The attacker is 100% responsible for his actions. None of my statements are meant to diminish that. Aim for center of mass, guns' stopping power comes from disrupting the nervous system and the center of mass has the spine in it: the highway by which all messages are sent from the nervous system.Using a knife for self defense? I suggest against it, but if you do: knives' stopping power comes from severing muscles to immobilize limbs. Even fatal cuts can take minutes or hours for the attacker to bleed out, during that time he can continue beating you if his muscles are not severed. So, sever his muscle tissue so his limbs are immobilized and cannot continue to be used to grasp/hit you. A gun is better.Relying on hand to hand self defense? Violence is chaos, and completely unpredictable, one can easily be killed in hand to hand combat. The key to hand to hand violence is controlling and restraining the attacker. If he can restrain you or overpower you, this is probably not your best bet. Generally speaking, men have more testosterone and therefore more muscle mass and power. Generally speaking an attacker has the advantage of surprise, and is prepared for violence where the defender is taken aback and unprepared: even if an attacker is a friend or family member they can surprise you with violence suddenly. All this combined, means the fairer sex has a harder time fighting. A gun is better.#SecondAmendment #SelfDefense
