You can call me any -phobic, -ist, or the quintessential "Boomer" all you want, but I couldn't give a rat's behind. It's my life, my opinion. While our military is permitting and performing/paying for sex changes and drug maintenance for them, mandating critical race theory training, censoring social media posts and discharging those they please, insisting on loyalty oaths or immediate discharge for senior officers, the rest of the world is watching. Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, and others are in a buildup mode that doesn't include ANY of our ignorance, stupidity, or madness. THEY learned how it's done by those who've gone before, and gave their lives for OUR nation. THEY'VE learned from history. THEY realize war is not a video game that starts over after they lose. Now, China has the world's largest Navy. Yeah, China. We can't even build ships or electronic equipment without buying materials from them. We can change from uniforms that were utilitarian to "pretty", though. Alas, but they're made in China, too. Yet, we continue to insist we're the number one in the world. You can only imagine how just ONE of those men who fell at Normandy would react to what's become of our country. Yes, it's Memorial Day week. Yet, nothing but panic over the upcoming three day weekend and the numbers of cars on the roads and passengers at airports without proper staffing or police presence due to defunding. People refusing to work because they make more $ by staying home on the dole. Prices going up everywhere, and chlorine for pools is in panic buying mode/price. Why? More pools were put in during the pandemic and a fire at one facility. The cost of fuel has doubled in the last six months here locally. BUT, more taxes to bribe workers to work on our social infrastructure and increase minimum wage to government workers and providers. The new minimum wage is DOUBLE the amount given to Social Security recipients, who are having to decide everything now by counting pennies. Then, the government lies to us and actually stated inflation is less than 2% ! Swear ! Yes, they WERE the greatest generation. EVERY casualty was a part of something special. I'm beginning to think that our society has been culled of our strongest and truest Patriots. Not even the Vets that served are letting out enough of a scream anymore. Very few. Now, when a former President is censored and cancelled, nobody says a word. Whether you agreed with him or not, if it can happen to him, it can/will happen to you. Instead of working for the People, the Megalomaniac is pushing for a CONgressional investigation into Jan. 6th, making a fifth investigation. Most people don't even know why she's doing it, but it's only to stretch it out into the 2024 elections. Leaks, trials, unfounded claims, ad nauseum all over again. Then, should the GOP regain power, the requisite impeachment trials all over again. No military Martial Law due to political culling. Yes, the power grab is almost complete. The socialist agenda is present without a shot being fired, and we're going to rebuild Gaza. Not America. Yet, ambivalence remains and apathy rules. BUT, as long as there's enough hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and beer this weekend, who cares? Its a three day! Party! Just like the Romans did ! Our real heroes won't know !
