The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Southwestern Dakota County in east central Minnesota...
* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 958 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 6 miles south of Farmington, or 8 miles north of
Northfield, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Farmington around 1010 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Lakeville, Apple Valley and Rosemount.
