What these verses are saying is that The Lord Jesus Christ wouldn't return, which is referred to as (the day of The Lord) until the man of perdition was revealed, now that the man of perdition has been revealed The Lord Jesus Christ will be coming soon for HIS Church, HIS Bride, HIS People, although the man of perdition isn't doing everything described yet, we know it's coming. But that doesn't mean we're supposed to sit back and let evil take over, we still need to do everything Legally we can to stop it, we weren't ever instructed to let evil take over.
