Yesterday's post that couldn't be shared until today :There are very few people out there today that can comprehend exactly what is transpiring in our world. I try and utilize allegories and different ways to communicate the same things, but the lemmings are multiplying. Like the unemployment debacle happening right now. Remember under Trump when the Democrats demanded $600.00 benefits? Now, they're seeing the effects of $300/WK and the impact that's having. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is blaming the lackluster recovery directly on that "benefit". Unemployment is staying around 6% mainly due to it, but remember it's down from around 14.5% in April 2020 due to the pandemic shutdowns. It's simply that people can make more money by NOT working instead OF working. Yet, they also complain that they still can't pay their rents and mortgages with their increased " pay", wanting more and more from the government. There are actually those out there today contemplating the "if you can't lick 'em, join 'em" approach. That would be the death Nell for us all. When you take something from earth, you are required to return it in some way. The timber industry replants when they cut. Farmers replant every year in a rotation program to preserve the soil. When people consume things on our planet, they should feel an obligation to return the favor. If not, they're nothing but parasites akin to the swarms of locusts and their debilitating effects on a crop. We've seen this transpiring just since Friday, when the plague of unemployed sat for hours burning gas in order to get their tanks filled up and leaving stations empty for the workers when they were done for the day. WHEN the workers can't get to work because of your self centeredness , no tax money gets sent anywhere. You just flummoxed yourself ! Now, you're beginning to see the effects of the minimum wage increase they're purporting. Everything is going up, and people are too ignorant to realize taxes are computed on a percentage of the gross, costing them more and netting less. With increased prices, the newfound money doesn't buy as much, either. Those of you with full gas tanks and on unemployment better start getting ready for the rudest awakening you've ever had. Taxes and fees HAVE to keep going up, which will require wages to go up, and prices to skyrocket. Remember the TP market/prices? Remember the gas availability/prices? WAIT until you find food coming into focus! Grocery stores not being able to keep up with demands. Big Mac, fries, and a small drink on sale for $10.00. Think you can't pay rent NOW? Wait until it doubles ! Insurance rates will have to increase. Why? To pay for the parasites and the havoc they wrought on us. This isn't a one time thing like hail destroying your tomato crop. This is nationwide and pervasive. People are actually planning on never working again. The locusts are going to let others toil so they can usurp the benefits for themselves at the expense of the very ones they need to survive. The major problem is when the locusts berate the workers and break their work ethic. Without pride and integrity, they'll quit. Some of you can remember the book "Animal Farm" by Orwell. Different analogy, same result. The government makes no money, they only collect taxes. To depend on them is foolhardy. Wake up, America !
