How do people justify abortion as "having the right to control their body" when the body they're killing is not their body?I would love to hear a legitimate reason for abortion being readily accessible to the public that IS NOT along the lines of "MY BODY, MY CHOICE" because I'm not talking about YOUR body being dismembered and YOUR life being snuffed out in the process of an abortion. These same people will argue that if someone hit a pregnant woman in the tummy with a 2x4, causing an unwanted abortion, that person has killed her baby. In many places, murdering a pregnant woman is a double-homicide.Is that the only difference in when abortion is "executing a baby" vs "exterminating a fetus"? One is wanted and one is unwanted? If you want to be pregnant, it is a precious life worth protecting. If you don't want to be pregnant, then it is suddenly not a life, but a clump of cells?People who are in favor of abortion tend to lean on the instances of rape/incest as to why abortion must be accessible. Less than 1/10th of a percent of abortions are attributed to rape and incest combined! However, if you concede to allowing that situation and prohibit all others, they are still adamant about the necessity of access for all to abortion. It isn't even a relevant argument to make if you are still pro-abortion when that factor is removed. All sexually active people know that the purpose of sex is to procreate. Sex causes babies. If you don't want to have a baby then either don't have sex or use preventative measures such as the many prevalent types of birth control available for free by many different services. Instead, people have frequent sex, some with multiple partners, without any birth control or condoms, and then are shocked when they end up pregnant. People have become so desensitized by abortion's normalization that it is treated the same way one would treat a cyst. It is a growing infection they need to get rid of before it's too late. They don't think of it as killing an unborn baby, rather as a procedure to ensure that life stays the way it was and they can go back to living the same promiscuous lifestyle with their abortion backup plan there for them to use at the next mistake. My ex's ex-wife has had so many abortions that she couldn't remember what number she was on. She said it was "at least 7 or 8", and kept being " too busy" to go get the abortion until she was 6.5 months pregnant with a big ole pregnant belly. The part that really gets to me is, that baby was developed enough that it could survive outside of the womb if it hadn't been torn limb from limb and removed from her womb. She had 3 children who were being raised by other people, closing in on 10 abortions, and on NO FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL because she could "just get an abortion if it comes down to it."Why is birth control not pushed instead of abortion normalized? If abortion was not readily available as a form of birth control, then maybe it wouldn't be used in place of birth control. On my last note, I find it absolutely abhorrent that women with celebrity status go out on TV and BRAG about the number of abortions they have had and GLORIFY abortions. It's disgusting. It's despicable. It's glorifying infanticide as the true sign of a strong woman. Just because you, the pregnant woman, can't see the baby being slaughtered and aren't physically having to perform the carnage, doesn't mean it isn't killed. Strong women don't kill their unwanted babies. Strong women buck up and take care of their responsibility caused by their own recklessness. That doesn't necessarily mean raising the child either. You can give your baby up for adoption to one of the many thousands of women who cannot bear children but desperately wants children of her own. Bottom line: if you aren't mature enough to take full responsibility for a potential pregnancy, you aren't mature enough to have unprotected sex.
