The stated intention of government is to 'protect your rights' but it's safe to say not only has government failed to protect your right of free speech but they have also failed to publicly acknowledge that big tech companies are far from private entities which means the censorship they engage in is by default a violation of the first amendment. Over the past 5 years big tech has:- Accepted government subsidies - Created a gov't to big tech revolving door pipeline - Partnered with gov't funded DC think tanks - Contracted with DOD/Pentagon - Given private information for gov't investigations So while the Democrats and Republicans stand around pointing the finger as your rights are destroyed by quasi private firms just remember that once again your loving government has failed to "protect you."
