Brian Shul Photography. The twins, sitting, waiting, just hanging out in the nest, which is their plight in early life, solely dependent on their mom returning with food every few hours. Just happened to capture them sitting in such a uniform tandem position here. What was interesting to me about the photo was something I only discovered upon repeated viewing. The branch-like tangle in the center, is actually the foot of the egret. These chicks grow fast and their feet are actually quite large, relatively, for their size. https://outdoorsstyles.com/
