The days of innocence are gone, replaced by the "pit of misery" being perpetrated on us by a tyrannical regime of oppressors. You either know this or you don't. The censorship should have given you the first clue, and it wasn't only on Facebook. When we were kids like THIS, we enjoyed life because we knew we were in the good hands of our parents who took pride in raising and protecting us from others as well as ourselves. Yes, there were broken homes, but relatively few. Still today, when we get the time to reflect, these are the days we yearn for. Somewhere between there and here, a monkey wrench got tossed into the machinations of our society, and people changed. I remember the 60's were very tumultuous times, and our nation became very divided back then. That division resulted in a closed loop system of "education" that's brought us to where we are today. The effects of that must be dealt with, but the cause is more urgently needing correction. Like it already happened ! For many years, instead of entering the workforce after high school or college, students remained in the academic world. After learning everything they were taught, they turned around and taught the next oncoming generation what THEY were taught, bereft of personal experiences outside the "safe" world of academia and rules and campus codes. Now, those students are teaching the next generation the same things under more stringent guidelines and curriculum. This "closed loop" of educators has become the effect. The cause that must be addressed is the qualifications to become/stay a TEACHER, not an indoctrinator. Upon graduation from school, there needs to be at least two years of real world experience outside of the academic environment. The list is long on possibilities, but would introduce them to life like it really is. We talk about term limits for politicians to prevent power centers, yet we allow teachers to stay in their jobs under the mantle of tenure until they decide to leave. The education system needs to change from the bottom up, and quickly due to the time it will take to see results in our nation. The political manipulation of our education/indoctrination system needs to cease immediately. Parental controls over a child's education need to be first and foremost. Having the federal or state government mandate anything is wrong, and is allowing them to prepare for the day when children will be wards of the government until they're of legal age. Lowering the voting ages, allowing medical procedures without parental consent, and encouraging children to inform on what's happening in their homes is already occurring. Yet, parents continue to support school consolidation into the huge institutions we see now. One high school for an entire county in places that require a two hour busride each way every day, making two meals outside the home a requirement. The cost of the transportation fleets and use of fossil fuels against their "green new deal" agenda will naturally lead to dorm facilities there. Along with the new gender locker room policies, you can imagine what THAT'S going to turn into. I was young, once too ! Can you picture today's youth being as carefree as these two? Shouldn't we rightfully TRY and correct where we're headed? So THEY can have the memories we do ?
