Those of us who've rebuilt an old car from the wheels up always treat it like an old friend when we drive. We don't loan it out because others don't have any "skin in the game" and will drive it like a maniac. Some people today don't even check their oil/water anymore, or even have routine maintenance done on their vehicles. Why did a lot of states pass vehicle safety inspections? They knew the drivers weren't even checking the safety equipment. Ever pulled a dipstick to check somebody's oil only to have it pull back and growl at you? Yeah, things get that bad due to neglect. Then, you see/hear all the stories of blown engines, torn up rear ends, twisted drive lines, and exploded clutches. We have all seen it. We've heard of people who rev the engine in neutral then drop their automatic into drive. We've seen the oil slicks on the roads. We've seen the tow trucks and dollys everywhere, and its not just for accidents or repossession. So, WHY would you want one of those types to drive YOUR car ? That's exactly what we've done with our vintage country, and expect them to do the maintenance and upkeep of our nation. They can't/won't/don't give one rip because they have no skin in the game. They're not paying for anything, they've exempted themselves. The money they're wasting comes from the 16th Amendment which is being spent illegally according to that same Amendment. I've spoken to many, many issues over the past four years this page has been up, and I realize that there's more drivers out there than mechanics. The tyrannical overreach of government is in the final stages of socialistic completion. People who disagree with them are being persecuted while the guilty enjoy their freedom. Known violations of state and federal laws are taking place by elected officials even as I write this. The federalization of elections will insure states rights will never be a problem for THEM anymore, and government takeovers of private corporations will soon follow. It always has. Alas, though, it's Friday night and dinner out with the FAM ! Now, there's a new game in town. The last bastion of freedom we cling to. The game changer. Permanently. If you pull any bill out of your wallet, on the left side of it you will read "this note is legal tender for all debts both public and private". Now, large fast food chains and stores are refusing to accept cash as legal tender. Yet, the lemmings, previously referred to as " drivers", apathetically wander around and allow it to happen ! NO SKIN IN THE GAME ! They didn't earn it, they didn't do anything to uphold or support it, they just plod along and do what they're told. Between digital currency and the PRO act in CONgress right now, your freedom at long last is going away. There MIGHT be a very small window whereby you can exchange cash for digital credits like "script", but expect long forms to be filled out and questions about source of income and proof of taxes paid. In the future, any non compliance will result in fines or your digital world arrested until ....... Do you know about the " social credit " system in China ? Remember "Demolition Man" ? If you don't see it coming, or think somebody else will handle it, or don't believe it because it's a conspiracy theory, you deserve it when it comes. Should've checked your oil !
