SO sick of ignorant people opining on everything. Unless one has ALL the facts available, they're just jumping to a conclusion. It astounds me how many people on this platform are the utmost authorities on everything from medicine to the legal field, yet continue to find themselves in "jail". TRUTH of the matter is simple. If you didn't sit in that jury box, have access to all of the testimony and evidence, and have the right to question, you're only partially informed, which is the most dangerous a person can be. Do I have an opinion? Yes, but I KNOW it's based on ignorance, so it will STAY MY opinion. It seems like today's society is jumping to conclusions more rapidly than ever before. Either that, or the illusionists are working overtime. Whenever we're being inundated by only two choices, something's up. The third solution created by healthy dialogue and debate was always the superior answer to serious problems. Now, it's reduced to the two choice fights that demand a winner, which there never is unless it's achieved by oppression and mob rule. While everybody's running around spouting their pontifications on everything, they've forgotten they have but one mouth and two ears. Two eyes. Two hemispheres of brain. Instead of running around like an idiot, they SHOULD be paying attention to what's happening in the Senate right now. The infamous HB1 is starting the process there. If you know " everything " about the Chauvin trial, but nothing about HB1, YOU are ignorant about what's REALLY going on. NO, I'm NOT going to explain it for you. You NEED to search this out on your own. Don't trust ANYBODY to TELL you what is going on, be enough of an American to ferret out the facts on your own. If you don't, and do nothing about it, just sit back and relax. Apathy is what brought us to this dance, and it will surely be the post script to this Great Experiment. Should this abomination pass and get signed into law, everything's a moot point anymore. Just like the Chinese people, OUR tomorrows will be up to the tyrant du jour. Yeah, it's THAT big a thing. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, and the ones who need to hear/read this never will. They're too busy with their narcissistic pursuits and feeding on the regurgitation of those who will control them to the point where they're no longer needed, and discarded on the pile of refuse with their predecessors. They can't/won't/don't read. That's precisely why we're repeating the biggest mistakes in history. Nobody tells them the accurate picture of the past without putting their own twist on it from THEIR agenda. There's still a lot of people like me that take the time to write things down in the hope that future generations may discover them and utilize them in their pursuit of reconstructing what we had and what really went wrong. Most things that occur in the future will be traced back to this one piece of legislation. This is the keystone in America's future as a free nation. Inform yourselves and the ramifications of it. Do what YOU can with what you have to encourage others to do the same. DON'T tell them, let them make up their OWN minds. The journey to save our Republic begins with the first step. Defeating THIS would be a GREAT one.
