The name on the transom of the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Cowpens (CG-63) is bracketed by a pair of horns. "The Mighty Moo" also features a set of longhorns under the bridge windows. The ship is named after the major U.S. victory over the British at the Battle of Cowpens in 1781.
