I haven't been sharing a lot of news because I don't want to be linked to queasy gut feelings. I keep informed on MANY topics, but most are nothing but cesspools of liberal nonsense. Like cancelling everything Trump did right out of the gate, then learning why he'd done that much later and countless millions of taxpayer money squandered. For all their talk and blustering, we've already discovered they had absolutely NO plan to handle ANYTHING like they said they did except blame everything on Trump. We also know why Joe didn't want debates. It would have looked like a two year old taking on a black belt in karate ! I do, however, find it VERY interesting that it took the GAO (government accounting office) to begin an investigation into Joe's executive order to stop construction on the Wall. It seems that on day one, he breached his authority by interfering with funds allotted in the last virus bill by CONgress, powers that only CONgress has. They allocated over $1 Billion for the wall, and it was passed and signed. Now Joe has singlehandedly usurped the authority of CONgress by his actions. But, it took accountants to figure this out? Really ? The MOST interesting question I have stumbled onto is the reason we still tolerate lobbyist money in Washington. As far back as Theodore Roosevelt, people have called for an end to this practice. Now, we're getting the tip of the iceberg. Who was the largest spender of lobbying funds last year? No, not Big Pharma. Facebook ! Over $19 MILLION ! Second ? Amazon ! $18 MILLION ! For LOBBYISTS ? For what? We know how much social media Mark controls. But, what's he PAYING politicians for? He should have read "The Art of the Deal" ! They should've been paying HIM to interfere the way he did ! We ALL saw it. Alas, though, the average American knows not that Bezos OWNS the Washington Post, and who knows what else in our media ! Starting to understand the power wielded by these two alone? Why Amazon seems to be cornering the market PLUS charging for "PRIME"? These two pony soldiers are actually forces almost beyond reigning in ! Yet, people will buy stuff from Amazon daily, and businesses will run ads on Facebook. I don't/won't shop Amazon, and any business advertised here is severely scrutinized by ME. Folks, as long as we permit the wholesale buying of votes in Washington, We The People are no longer in control. Money, greed, and avarice are. That's the main reason we no longer have a voice, it's been shouted down by larger sums of money. Some of that money flows IN from media, then is promptly given back OUT in the form of legislation that permits them to usurp your rights ! Like Section 230! We've GOT to recognize the importance of the internet and social media as a communication tool and therefore should be under the auspices of the FCC at LEAST. As a publicly traded stock, ANY company should HAVE to comply with our Constitution due to the fact that they serve multiple states and are thus subject to federal guidance. There's many things our lawmakers NEED to address instead of transgender issues in kindergartens. By the time these clowns even begin to realize technology brought unforseen problems with it, it'll be too late ! Look at what Goebbels did ! The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. If they're NOT doing it for the money, what ARE they doing it for? Always, follow the money. Always. Time for a visit with my squirrels. I get myself too wound up sometimes. I KNOW some of y'all can identify !
