From watching Saturday morning cartoons on a round black and white TV eating cereal out of saucepans cross legged on the floor with my brother while our parents slept to interactive color video games on cellular telephones with fast food.From watching my Dad buy a brand new 1964 Chevy Impala in 1965 for $3200.00 with financing to people buying plastic things for $32,000.00 today.From my father building his first house with his father and uncles to watching him buy a house in 1962 for $20,000.00 that he sold thirty years later AFTER paying off his mortgage for $180,000.00.From paying .99 for three pounds of hamburger to paying $3.00/lb. for 73/27 , or $4.50/lb. for vegetarian burgers.From getting a meal at a restaurant once a month instead of home cooking as a treat to subsistence on fast food with home cooking once a month as a treat.From eating meals at the family table after saying a prayer to eating whatever over video game consoles wherever .From worrying about passing on to the next grade in school with your friends enough to MAKE you study to automatic transition, resulting in 12th graders reading at 2nd grade level.From cutting grass, raking yards, and other odd jobs for spending money to demands for allowance from parents.From feeling the pride of passing your driver's test and road test on the first try to "gimme" licenses for $50.00 and a boxtop type that get into their first accident on the way home.From working your whole life toward a plan for retirement for your family and watching it all evaporate and nobody cares about anything except their freebies.Watching your tax dollars being given to those who repeatedly say "Death to America".Watching your tax dollars going to people who insult and call you names who refuse to work.And NOW, calling this type of language " seditious ".All in 70 years. Good job, America. Hope you're proud !
