When a government monopoly is funded by taxation it will never have any incentive to be efficient, effective, accountable or to improve. Why? Because it doesn't have to. Most don't get it, the sad part is most never will, that is until it's to late and the monster that is the U.S. government supported by state and local government is so big and ferocious it devours everything that resembles opposition to it's unauthorized power. ????
