[38] For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."Take Up Your CrossIt is that time of year when we really focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus. How many movies have I seen Jesus carrying His cross, beaten almost to death and struggling to get to that place where He could take on God's wrath and be able to endure that. What love! What great marvelous astounding love He had for us. It brings me to tears all the time when I think of His sacrifice. When I have somehow failed Him, I run to Him instead of hide because even in my darkest moment, He is there, waiting, to renew me and restore me. Today, I pick up my cross. And I won't be able to carry it alone. Simon helped Jesus. God Almighty will help me. He is always faithful and never leaves me nor forsake me. ???
