16 years ago, Rachel Corrie, an American activist was killed by an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) armored bulldozer in Rafah, south Gaza. Israel had been stealing Palestinian land for the last 68 years, and on that March morning it was the home of the Nasrallah family which was being destroyed by the Israeli soldiers. She was killed while trying to block the Israeli armored bulldozer. Rachel Corrie (April 10, 1979 - March 16, 2003)
