A wonderful, early photograph of ZZ Top from 1970, the year they formed. Check out Billy Gibbons adjusting the strap or cable on his single-pickup Gibson Firebird I, as well as that pair of feisty Marshall stacks behind him. Dusty Hill, meanwhile, hits a high note on a Fender P-bass while Frank Beard pounds a set of glittery drums in the back.
