This was posted in a Croatian Heritage group on FB. It talks about the wars in Croatia, etc. Although this piece is talking specifically about Croatian soldiers, every word of it is applicable to American soldiers. The face of a soldier after 4 years spent in the war, 1941-1945. These two photos with the caption. "Liejvo is a photograph when he went to the front in 1941.
