Each little Sphere here is an Atom, and according to the Atomic connections, the Molecular Geometry changes and supports the Platonic Solids Geometry as well. But it is in the Atomic Necleous that these shapes begin to generate. As in this Image of the Merkhaba Geometric structure, you may see in all Electron Microscope photos of Metals that this structure repeats infinitum.
