...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Michigan...Wisconsin...
Menominee River near Pembine affecting Menominee and Marinette
Counties.
.There has been a gradual rise on the Menominee River near Pembine
due to ice build-up downstream of the Pemene Falls. Minor flooding
of lowland areas has already been reported near the river. Some
improvement is expected by the middle or latter part of this week as
temperatures moderate.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued Wednesday by 1100 AM CST.

* Impact...At 16.0 feet, An ice jam is likely occurring. Flooding
affects mainly lowland and forested land adjacent to the river.
