This has been quite an unusual winter in the South. We were without power for a day but were luckier than most to have generators. Despite that, most of the tilapia fish in our aquaponic system died even though we had 2 heaters going for it. And now I smell something dead in the attic. But this baby owl surprised me the most. It was resting on top of our generator trying to keep warm. I hope it made it through the night. Today temps should start climbing up... what a nice birthday gift to me. God is good.
