Yes, I served for most of the 70's. I have the right to say what I please now and where I please. I'VE earned the right. With that prequalifier, I unequivocally state that I think Mark Cuban's right, but for different reasons. We SHOULD stop playing the national anthem. It has become hypocritical and disrespectful to those who once served/gave their lives for this nation. We are NO LONGER the land of the FREE, NOR the home of the BRAVE. I get sick to my stomach watching what's happening in our country. The acceptance and resignation by it's people. I NEVER believed I'd see total societal breakdown HERE, but, alas, I was wrong. It's becoming so repugnant I'm almost speechless. There's SO MUCH evidence to prove my claims I don't even know where to start! The psyops propagated throughout ALL media now to regurgitate their vitriole to the waiting lemmings? The emasculation that's resulted in feckless "males"? The promotion of hypocrisy acceptance? The promulgation of ignorance as a viable excuse for any/every thing? Tyranny, oppression, and fear as normal now? When you allow your " leaders" to control instead of lead, the battle is over. When more than half of what you make is confiscated under the guise of taxation and spent on things that have absolutely nothing to do with our country, and YOU allow it, it's over. When taxation without representation became the norm decades ago but still continues today, it's over. There WAS a time when that type of behaviour resulted in a Declaration of Independence, but that was when our nation had men of honor and principle. When you have college students who can't recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor know the words to the national anthem, it's over. When our "CONgress" recites the pledge before the kangaroo hearings, it's over. When every media can say anything they want but the accused is censored everywhere, it's over. Reminiscent of the Russia/Navaltny situation. When the U. S. Military is permitted to be culled by one political philosophy, it's over. When you've SEEN video with your OWN eyes, and told you're wrong, it's over. When you PROVE something and it's ignored, it's over. Give it up. Stop dreaming of a return to "normalcy". Since this was the last bastion of freedom left in the world, it's over for those of us who grew up in saner times. Yes, we can retreat into our bubble, and should somebody attempt to pop it, deal with it. Some weren't fortunate enough to have the mental capacity to prepare. While taxes and fees were shooting through the roof, both spouses had to go to work in order to survive, which cost our society the nuclear family. The harder they work, the more taxes are collected, until they drop from exhaustion. Then, they're discarded on the streets to die while their money that was collected in taxes was sent overseas to fund something that we don't agree with. CONgress has breached their fiduciary responsibilities, and torn up the bailment clauses. Just like when the Megalomaniac of the House tore up Trump's SOTU speech, she's tearing up the remains of moral character and our founding documents. This ONE hate-filled person has brought our country to its knees, and apathetic Americans have not only ignored it, they're guilty by not standing against it. I guess they're still impatiently waiting on their precious stimulus checks which they'll have to pay back a millionfold. Yeah, I'm just as disgusted as you. While we cats were away, you mice were at play. Now, our entire nation gets to pay. Even the Roman Empire lasted longer ! Shameful.
