Nope. Didn't watch that souper bowl thingie. Why ? Veteran. That's all I'll say about that. Last year, I watched "The Patriot", but knowing what's coming tomorrow, I wanted to laugh. The History of The World by Mel Brooks took care of that for me. I was watching that and unfriending hypocrites, a total of ten yesterday. You know the ones, " I'm done with the NFL for good", then start writing posts every ten minutes. I refuse to even have people like that in my feed. Like "Christians" who vote Democratic, supporting abortions. The key here isn't how/what people think, it's the blatant hypocrisy. You CANNOT have your cake and eat it, too. Stand for SOMETHING or fall for anything. Yeah, it bothers me when "friends" support the NFL complete with its policies and stances, but I can handle it because I realize they'll never understand how much of an effrontery that is to veterans. I WILL be watching them in the future, though, because a little game of millionaires is more important to them than American Blood being spilled overseas on their behalf. Yeah, we enter a new chapter of Hypocrisy/Mockery of Democracy starting tomorrow. With fencing, concertina wire, and armed troops surrounding the People's Capitol, our government will put on ANOTHER demonstration of propaganda. When the full power and might of our government is being utilized as a weapon against a private citizen, we have two problems. The first is obvious, and begs to question why they didn't do it to Obama after the coup attempt was proven. The second is the obvious distraction while they engage in something nefarious they don't want us to see. Am I just being cynical? No, a cynic knows the price of everything, but the true value of nothing. I know the value of freedom, and see THEIR encroachments daily. I know that our pilgrims didn't cross the ocean just for the sake of a cruise. They were in search of a place where they could exercise their freedom of religion and realize the spoils of their own efforts. You know, the things THEY'RE against. It's baffling to me how little Americans care anymore. BUT, wait! A game! Hot dang ! No, I won't be watching the debacle. Watching another man's fury takes away your own powers of reasoning. Especially when they're actually pursuing beliefs they disagree with disguised as one person. It's not Trump they're after, it's US. The ones who are sick and tired of being played by these octogenarian demented fools. Have you noticed the word "reprogramming" bandied about feverishly right now? Exactly who do you think they're after to be reprogrammed? ANYBODY who's not in TOTAL lockstep with everything THEY say. NO more individuality. The sworn allegiance to accept hypocrisy as normal. Like gender neutrality, but emphasis on a female Veep or a female bomber pilot. Like "equity" over equality. Like socialism over a Constitutional Republic because, well, because THEY say so. This doesn't smell like a government OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people any more. I won't denigrate myself by telling you what I think it DOES smell like, either. Remember when you see/hear anything in the coming days. I bet you'll agree. Just like watching the news now. At least 10 closeups of needles getting shoved in people's arms. Programming, much? Sickening.
