To k... View More12/25/2018 - First time I've ever seen one of these...a hammerhead flatworm. They exclusively eat earthworms. It is considered a parasite, and if you chop it into 7 pieces, you will have 7 worms. To kill it, you need to spray or saturate with salt, vinegar, or citrus oil.
This was photographed at my daughter's house in Bridge City, Texas. I have never seen one here at Hoo Hoo Acres, or any where else for that matter. Unfortunately, we let this one go before Googling and finding out more about it. It was brought over here to the US soil from Indo-China. (iPhone XS MAX)

1 - An Osprey flew to the top of a telephone pole with a big fish in it's claw. I stopped but it flew off.
2 - A pelican dove into the water for it's catch. I turned the curve and it was already going down....that's nice!

The best time to do this is in spring. Now, I have to try and protect any new growth from getting frost bitten.
