Every citizen of the United States has the unalienable right to freedom of speech. A right so important that it was deemed worthy of Constitutional protection. And it has been that way since ratified as part of the Bill of Rights ratified on December15, 1791. On that day it became part of the Constitution, It's not an after thought or something thrown in for window dressing. It is the law of the land. The law for the past 230 years, 11 months, 20 days or, the past 84,361 days.
It's purpose involved a number of reasons. First and foremost it was an inalienable right to speak one's mind. But it was so much more. It guarantied a say in how this nation should be run, it gave a voice to all, it promoted discourse between differing point of views the essential part of compromise and developing a reasonable enough notion of what works and what leads to disaster.
But all of those reasons pale in comparison the real crux of what the First Amendment enshrined. The unalienable right to freedom of thought. That is simply the most important of all human rights. It is what makes us a free people. It promotes consensus in making our laws, of having a place in this grand experiment. Most importantly it sets the stage for agreement on legislation affecting our country, and hence every individuals daily life.
The woke folk are out to end that, plain and simple. If we were to keep thinking, or in many individuals, get them to start thinking. This entire woke rebellion would be seen for what it is; An attack on people thinking for themselves instead of being cajoled, forced, threatened into believing some narrative that is pure fantasy. The end game for them is to make slaves of us all for the benefit off the incredibly wealthy, politicians who steal the money other have labored to earn, and even the wokies. As to the on the street main stream wokies too blind to see what's really happening, they will still be on the public dole keeping their ears open to prevent working people from rebellion.
Sounds more like "The New World Disorder" to me.
