"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."
Have you ever heard the phrase " fail to plan, plan to fail"? Or have you ever made plans and ask God to bless them? Both of these sound pretty good but neither is a guarantee that you will find the success that God has in store for you. Try letting Him know what you want to accomplish, trust him and then let Him set in place whatever is necessary for you to accomplish your desires. This is both very hard and scary, but isn't that what walking by faith is all about? Try it then tell your story to others, that is all he wants from us.

"Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm."
Have you ever noticed how you behave differently around different people? Or more noticeable, how differently your friends act when they are with you then when they are with people of a different maturity level? I don't think it is other people that make the difference, but how much you desire to be wise or foolish. If you desire wisdom then you will make it a point to hang out with the wise, if you desire foolishness then you will seek out the foolish. I think I had better monitor the guys I hang out with a little closer, or maybe they will not show up to be with me any longer. The point is that who we hang out with does affect our behavior.

When you think of the power of God what do you think of? Is it the healing of the sick, raising the dead, making the poor rich or speaking in tongues? Or is it a transformed life that is able to turn the other cheek, work hard in order to share with others, bless when cursed, love when surrounded by hate? In other words, is it a life that now imitates Christ? Read the whole chapter of 1Corinthians 4 and see the power that The writer is talking about. So if you feel powerless learn to walk as Jesus walked.
Has anyone from the CDC ever told you anything that you can hang Your hat on???

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Can you find the key word? You remember when you were a child, looking forward to Christmas? How you would shake the gifts ,when no one was looking of course, trying to guess what was in each one, and how you would check each day to see if another had been added to the pile. You remember how anxious you you got hours before the time when you could open them. You remember how much joy those presents could bring. And do you remember how you felt the day after Christmas? The tree was bare, the toys were broken and the lights had lost their shine and a feeling of sadness has set in. We often suffer that same kind of experience when we put our TRUST in things, jobs, health and people. They just don't have the power to fill you for a lifetime, but there is ONE who can bring joy and peace to overflowing forever. Do you know Him? Do you trust Him?
