I no longer recognize April 1st as April fools day because every day in Canada we suffer the real fools. I will however recognize April 1st as "National Screw You Day." The day every year where they screw the people with more taxes, more raises for themselves, and more ideological abuse... and then do victory laps for themselves. Some call it theory, others call it conspiracy. Either way it's April 1st and we are all a little more crewed today than we were yesterday, the only absolute constant in our lives it seems. Buckle up for turbulence!
