It's been a tumultuous ride and at times, an all out war with big tech and the government. Both have done all they can to crush us, shut us down, and obliterate our earnings potential. We're still here, and we're thriving now more than ever! Here's what you can expect over the coming weeks:
* NEW APP RELEASE - Wimkin will be releasing a "PRO" version as an update. PRO will be faster, cleaner and will give you access to every feature the web version has.
* NEW MARKETPLACE - Sellers and buyers will be able to conduct and finalize transactions and will be able to search products by their location or region.
* NEW LIVE STREAMING - We're rolling out our new live streaming service which will work far better and provide opportunities for monetization.
* ADS IN VIDEOS - To monetize the site, we will be adding ads in videos. All ads will only play at the beginning of the video and can be skipped after only 5 seconds. Users can monetize their videos and earn money with Wimkin! Users with the ad-free experience subscription will not see the ads.
* SCROLLING ADS - Users will be able to purchase ad space on the app and web! These will be shown in the main feed similar to Facebook and Twitter and will have the same tracking capabilities. Users with the ad-free experience subscription will not see the ads.
* WIMKOIN - Wimkin will be releasing our on-site crypto-currency aptly named "Wimkoin." Koins can be used to purchase site items, advertising and used in the marketplace to finalize a sale/purchase.
* BETTER GROUPS MODERATION - Users will be able to approve posts, approve members and deny any posts in their groups.
* LOGIN AS A PAGE - For businesses or influencers, they'll be able to login as a page and post / comment as the page.
