I was thinking about how Job's (bible) friends had good intentions when they decided to go to give Job sympathy and encouragement. However, they became so distraught over Job that they became very emotional and took seven days and nights to talk. Not a word during that time.
We get like that sometimes. Good intentions aren't worth anything unless they are followed through. God is our strength in everything. He talks to us and actually tells us His plans for us, but we get unfocused and start a pity party. We are blessed no matter what. God is good all of the time. He was goid to Job even though He had to tell job, "stand up like a man". Whining and complaining isn't in God's will. Praise and worship in the goid and the bad times. In and out of season.
My next youth lesson will be on "faith the size of a mustard seed"... they are tiny!
