The Senate passed the ACA on December 24, 2009, by a vote of 60 to 39, with no Republican support. The Senate passed the Affordable Care Act by a vote of 60–39.
All 60 "Yea" votes came from Democrats and the two Independent senators who caucused with Democrats (Bernie Sanders and Joe Lieberman).
