Every expression of sexual desire outside of a proper marriage is fornication and absolutely forbidden by God. It is damnable sin to even look with lust upon anyone other than one's own spouse. It is such a serious matter that Jesus said it'd be better for you to cut off and lose your hand or remove one of your eyes to avoid committing sexual sin, rather than to die lost and have your soul end up in Hell because of it. Many will be populating the fiery caverns of the damned to burn there forever and ever, because they chose to put aside the truth of God's word where it comes to sexual purity. Jesus overcame all sins of the flesh at the cross, and if we'll simply repent, with our faith in Christ's victory won for us, we'll be forgiven and given the Holy Spirit's power to live and walk in freedom from it all! Don't miss Heaven because of sexual sins you chose to be lazy about and failed to repent over.

Everybody always need a challenge to grow in whatever area of life, but in this thing called Christianity and victory over the sinful nature, it is not something that should ever be challenging. Sure, the Bible says we fight the good fight of faith, but that doesn't say we're supposed to be fighting against sin. Christ won the victory for us on the cross by defeating sin and death. When one comes to Jesus and puts their faith in his atoning sacrifice they're born again and exonerated from all of their past guilt of sin. What many Christians however do not understand is that the sinful power that wants to makes us stumble from day to day is also what Christ won the victory over. Many think we're saved by faith and then we get victory over the sin nature by struggling with it, along with a firm resolve not to repeat our wrong actions. This is not the teaching of the Bible. The Sabbath was a day of rest for the Jewish people from all of their labor, and the symbolism for New covenant Christians it is all about us resting in Christ and what he did for us and not anymore laboring to obtain righteousness on our own. If we understand that and practice putting our faith in what Jesus' death accomplished every time there is a temptation or inclination toward a particular sin, we can walk away from it free and with great ease. When we try to wrestle against it, we will fall prey to it. If we make no effort except to put our faith in what Jesus did, reminding ourselves that the victory was won there, we'll simply walk away with great thankfulness in our hearts for what the Savior did on our behalf to liberate us not only from the sins of our past, but the sins that attempt to beset us today.
We need God to save America, not so we can go on living immoral lives, but so we can be free to shine the Gospel's light.
