Can someone please explain to me how they can move forward with an Impeachment process when there is such a thing as the Double Jeopardy Clause? Or did the Democraps vote that law out too?

The reason for the impeachment is because, if they are successful, he can never run for President again. They are trying to squash him as he stated that if he loses then he will be back in 2024. But my question is how can they even attempt it due to the double Jeopardy law?
