It is known as the Day of the Covenant, or the Blood River Anniversary. On this day in 1838, 438 white Africaners, men, women, and children prayed and asked God to preserve them as a people because they were surrounded by as many as one million Zulu warriors. The Africaners said that they would dedicate South Africa to Jesus Christ if God would spare them.
They circled the waggons like their American brethren did when they fought the Indians. After the battle, the South Africans did not lose one man, woman, or child. The river ran blood red from all the dead Zulus. (Hence the "Blood River" name) . The Zulus said it was not the bullets that struck them down, but it was the "arrows from the sky."
South Africa, like all European countries, including America, has gone astray and is reaping the whirlwind. We may forget the covenant we made with God, but God will not forget the covenant He made with us. South Africa, like America, and all European countries will turn back to our God. Then He will drive the aliens from our midst.
