He is sending signals that I abhor, with this..."while a close call." Close call on an unconstitutional process? Close call on political rhetoric which is protected, and practiced in incendiary ways by Democrats? What a disgusting comment.
Then, he signals, the President can be tried for "criminal" misconduct while leaving office....but clarifies that impeachment is NOT the way to do it, that is a tool for removal only. Is he signaling to Democrats, mount a criminal charge against the President? I have no further need for this Deep State character. He has been waiting for this moment to discredit the President so that he will not be a powerful adversary in speaking to voters in the future.
McConnell, with silver tongue, lets his real feelings come out. He hopes this is not over, but will not impeach. I can't wait to actively work to ensure that he is never elected to another office. He has too many personal reasons to oppose Trump, including that his personal fortune is tied up with his wife's family in Chinese imports. Rebecca Burke
