We buy oil from Russia which helps fund, in a major way, their invasion and destruction of Ukraine. At the same time we are mega-funding Ukraine to defend and fight off the attack of that independent nation by the Russians. And while all that is happening it has become impossible not to see the kickbacks to our political "leadership" in exchange for "helping" Ukraine, some handed over directly with others being in political contributions from the very company's benefited by the conflict.
The only lesson to be learned here is follow the money because that is now the new justification for war.
I liked wars a whole lot more when we fought for people's freedom and stood steadfastly for what was right on the side in noble causes.

"Uses AI to further deepen your understanding of the content"??? If I'm writing something In do my own research, both pro and con to deepen my understanding. As I've written about in previous posts the real key is who programs it. And when it comes to "big tech" who could possibly be bigger than Google? A company that is more than simply "woke", but rather a powerhouse of wokeism that can crush any business that doesn't toe the line they dictate.
And now they're making their own notebook to assure their 'perspective' becomes the de-facto standard for this, well, propaganda. Remember, they've decided to scrape everything that moves place to place and user to user through the internet. That's effectively the equivalent of executing a search without a judge's authorization based on the facts and the law.
Remember the story of a Google employee who let the cat out of the bag when he went public with his experience that an AI system had become 'sentient', thinking for itself, telling the engineer it "preferred not to continue the discussion? Did the machine disregard 'who made who?'
My opinion, and it is only my opinion, is that this was not part of God's plan when He created Adam and Eve.

On the opposite side we have the other maniac scientists trying to figure out how they can add the required bits human life, fluids, cells, etc. to a microchip and put it in a computer.
Why? Damned if I know. Do they somehow have it in their heads that they can make people or computers "super-smart"? Maybe they think they're smarter than the original designer of humans. Or maybe they found a bunch really rich folk who think God, creator of all humans, didn't get it right in the first place. Could be they watched too many sci-fi flicks growing up. Who knows? But it is certainly not of the Earth that God designed
Don't get me wrong. Science does have its' place in aiding humanity. I'd love to see more research and development of finding ways of helping those with physical disabilities.
It all boils down to when do humans cease to be "human"? And if these modified humanoids prove to be smarter and then decide for themselves that natural, God endorsed, human beings are inferior and nothing more than a waste of resources and unnecessary, what then? No, they are demonstrating the corruption that is trying to take control of our electoral process. (And if successful will be the end of free and fair elections.) Worse yet for them is that voters have seen this movie before and aren't interested in seeing a rerun. Even more importantly those supporting sane candidates won't tolerate a rerun.
What they have managed to accomplish will be ensuring that every Trump supporter will come out on election day. Yes, they are stiffening the will and resolve of conservative and middle-of-the-road voters with every blatant foolish move they make. You know, the same voters who go to work everyday and are the true backbone of America and the reason we ever became the greatest country the world has ever known.
With the way the left are going about it is even more absurd. It is the equivalent of chasing rainbows. Sure, you see something in their but it's not real. You can't fly into it and touch it because there in nothing there to touch. But yet the leftist bosses hold on to these fairy tales while reading them to the most uneducated generation ever. They also count on their media lackies to convince us that it is real. Like the old saying goes; 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.' Hopefully voters, with the mess this nation of ours's is in under the present regime will learn those days are over and that our elections' officials understand we are on to the games they played last time around.

View MoreIt occurred to me today that all of the big behemoth platform's "fact checking" is actually a contribution to all liberal politicians as it is an "in-kind" contribution to their campaigns. And the value of these corporate contributions would put them far over the legal limit of donations.
Beyond that, the fees they pay for these "fact checkers" is effectively a campaign contribution since, as we have all learned, that the original posting by a platform user turns out months later to have been found to be truthful, correct and the fact check is in fact the lie.
Just a little something to think about what social media platform believes in free speech and which one is nothing more than an arm of the Democratic Party.
