Freedom of speech and religion is a value of the past. People are now more than ever inclined to debate each other because of belief that we can change someone's else's mind or belief system. It gains nothing and we have all lost so much. Friends are not friends anymore because of political views or religious beliefs. Families hardly speak to each other because they are devoured by social media. Facebook Twitter Snapchat and other sites have replaced the need to talk to each other. We pass people we knew from school or people from our past on the street or in stores and don't acknowledge each other because we are to self involved or in fear of not having anything left to say. We are a world so driven by technology that it has replaced the need to say hi or have conversations. Instead we text and live through our social medias. Our country is not great and we are guilty of destroying it a piece at a time. It's heart breaking to go out to dinner and see everyone around you glued to their phones and barely making eye contact. Yet we claim racism, our president, and religion are destroying our country. No it's not, it's us we the people. The Constitution is beautiful and amazing and most people can't even say they have read it. The most important document in our country and its not a valid paper to most. I love our country and support all who have fought for her and have died for her. Our once great nation is a sad tragedy still stuck in the past yet running full force into a uncertain future.
