I am pleased to say that this City Council is one of the most reasonable and thoughtful councils I've yet to speak before. Not because they openly agreed but because they were open to their community's actual concerns. Not just big business, but local business, individuals, the People!
They did motion to table the mandate until after the Health Board has had their meeting and formed a recommendation.
It is my hope that they fully assess all information provided to them and continue to rule in a Constitutional and honorable way.
