A lot has happened since my last post. I had intended to post regularly but things kept coming up and I figured I would post later. That didn't seem to happen. The very latest was about a shelter that was bought and donated to the rescue sanctuary. Two days before our first storm of the year (this past week), a metal open shelter was donated and put up for GARS. The storm brought heavy rain, snow and wind. Sometime during this storm, a wind gust came up (gusts were clocked at 70mph) and it lifted the shelter completely over a 4.5 foot fence and dumped it upside down in the field next to the pasture. The shelter will be tied down when it is set back up.
