Location: Chehalis, WA3.5-4 months old,no chemicals added. Field raised and kept in stalls on deep litter hay until leaving. Males intact. We don't castrate here. This is a good fit if you are looking to raise at home and process at home. Butchers are hard pressed to schedule these days. Them big pigs are a good choice to send off to butcher, bc that's a JOB ( we just did a big one. Whew!) . 2 groups separated by m/f. $100- Black/white banded. We call these the big/little mixes, fathered by AGH/KK to large breed sow Hamp/York/Duroc. Their 7 month old siblings are on site. They take a bit more grain like their mothers to not get too lean, and grow a bigger frame like their mothers. $75-. These are the little guys. AGH/KK . We process anywhere from 7 months to a year. They eat SUPER cheap, about a cup of grain per pig, per day. Then free choice forage/ hay. Easy to process at home, ready to handle.
