Dr. Jerome Michael Adams is an anesthesiologist in the US Navy Medical Corps assigned to the U.S. Public Health Service, and has been serving as the Surgeon General of the United States for the past two years. Admiral Adams is a non-political member of the Military, and, well, a Black American.
