I just witnessed an outright lie, if not misrepresentation of the truth on Fox News this morning. Ian Prior, former DOJ Deputy Public Affairs Director serving as of Mar 20, 2017 stated thatPresident Donald J Trump handed more pardons than any of the other presidents, except perhaps Obama. The only president since before FDR to hand out fewer pardons than Trump was George W Bush. Prior is a seasoned Republican party influencer. He is an example of the Never Trump Republicans and he now seeks to Diminish Trump in some Fashion. He is part of the swamp. Trump last night issued 73 pardons for a total of 143 over the course of his presidency.
