I'm a volunteer 18th living historian at a historic state park, dedicated to keeping our national and state stories alive concering our country's founding. It's an irony that as we're approaching the 250th anniversary in a couple of years, our country's founding documents are being shredded in front of our very eyes and we're entering a dark age. A sitting president has been overthrown, the speaker of the house enjoined the Pentagon in a military coup which fortunated they refused, election has been corrupted, Patriots have been branded as traitors and terrorist groups like Antifa and BLM are allowed to attack and destroy without restraint. When men rattle their muskets recreating 18th century battles and skirmishes, we're battling for this country in ways that have yet to be revealed. I'll never look at my hobby in quite the same way without mourning our loss.
